Offshore Support

Click on picture to viewThe offshore oil and gas industry operates in an environment which demands the highest standards of safety, and these standards require to be maintained at all stages of construction, transportation, commissioning and throughout the operational lifetime of the unit.

In recent years, the industry has witnessed an increase in the number of floating production and storage units, in the form of FPSO, FSU, and SPAR - these types of vessel may be on station for extended periods, without the periodical examinations in drydock to which ships are traditionally subjected, and therefore a rigid in-service inspection regime is required in order that potential defects are discovered at an early stage.
