Our surveyors have  considerable experience in surveying fishing vessels of all sizes, on behalf of Owners, Prospective Purchasers, Insurance Underwriters or other interested parties. These include condition and valuation surveys, and inspection and investigation of hull or engine casualties or damages.

We are familiar with all materials and methods of hull construction, and with the engines and machinery commonly found on vessels of this type. We frequently undertake detailed examinations and investigations, for the purpose of resolving disputes.

On behalf of Owners, we conduct periodical inspections of boat safety management systems, verifying on a regular basis continued compliance with statutory requirements, also holding records of deviations found  together with remedial action taken. In cases where day to day running of the boat is delegated to the skipper, this system provides valuable information to the Owner regarding on-board management of the boat and health and safety issues.
